The Golden Star is a symbol of rebirth, peace, and human solidarity.
The project envisions the creation of the Coat of Arms of Italy, forged from genuine fragments of ammunition gathered on Ukraine’s battlefields —
transforming weapons of war into a work of sacred beauty.

Through art, the initiative unites two nations — Italy and Ukraine — in a gesture of gratitude for the unwavering humanitarian support of the Italian people.

The sculpture will be cast in metal by the renowned American artist of Ukrainian descent Sergey Melnikoff (MFF) —
the only master in the world who creates monumental works from fragments of war and who introduced into art history the concept of “ashes of war” as a material capable of creating beauty.

MFF is the artist who exchanged the calm of Florida for creation under the roar of rocket fire.
Throughout the years of war, he has worked in his studio, where every day ashes fall from the burning skies.

In his hands, each fragment — once an instrument of destruction — is reborn as a symbol of light, faith, and hope.
The Golden Star is both a prayer and an offering — proof that beauty can heal the wounds of war.
